ST. JAMES SCHOOL FOR LITTLE FOLKS accepts children ages 1 to 5 years of age. One and two-year-olds are not required to be potty-trained prior to starting school. However, they must be completely trained before moving into a three-year-old classroom. Due to building restrictions, our 12-month-old students must be able to walk alone, drink from a regular cup, and eat normal table food. Sippy cups and pacifiers are not allowed in the classroom. This policy helps ensure the health, safety, and well-being of our youngest students by reducing germ swapping and sharing of illnesses.
We are proud of our Open Door Policy and parents are encouraged to visit our school with their child prior to enrollment.
To register your child, a $65.00 non-refundable fee is required with completion of the parent/school contract.Should we not have current openings or your child is under age, we would be happy to place you on our waiting list. This list is given first priority when spaces become available.
We encourage you to place your child on our wait list, especially if they are under 1 year of age as our capacity is limited and openings are filled quickly.
